Everyday I am greeted with smiles and conversations from old and new friends. I enjoy learning more about others to help myself grow and to share their stories to build images, themes and characters in my writing. Everyone has a story to tell whether: funny, tragic, sad, inspirational, informative, joyful and so on.
I love talking with people wherever I go. The gas station, the grocery store, the transfer station, the post office, appointments, shopping and so forth. My 18 year old son picks on me about always having to converse with– everyone I meet. He usually tries to hurry me a long or give an eye roll. Yes, I was a terrible eye roller at his age too. He is watching and learning from me by seeing the importance of taking the time for real conversations bothis positive.
Today is my first day of a more structured schedule where I research the writing market and write. My e-mails are piling up from publishing jobs awaiting me. Each day as a writer, I need to devote time to read these messages and see where I am being guided to explore.
Recently God spoke to me as I was crying hysterically while driving . He and my angels protected me as I stayed in control of driving alone to be in nature. The vision I had told me to give up my other passion of teaching and become a professional writer. I realize some of you may not be strong believers in Jesus Christ. That is your choice and I respect you. As for my life, my faith leads me through everything.
