A Peaceful Saturday

Visited with a worker at the transfer station.

Thanked him for the head of cabbage he left on our porch.

Talked about fishing and having a picnic at their camp along the river .

Would be a nice day trip for my Dad and I.

Was going to pick some yellow squash at a roadside stand in town.

Sign explained “free vegetables” because they want to help others.

Left them there for someone else.

My Dad and I went for a short drive to get zucchinis, squash, and cheese.

My dog and I walked after lunch.

The bees were feasting on the rotten apples on the ground.

Several large feathers were scattered on the ground.

I admired one that my dog sniffed.

Flowers holding onto the last of their fragrance.

Spending my later afternoon at the Soft Maple Campground.

The beach was closed to swimming because the lifeguards to school.

Wiggled my toes in the sandy beach.

Sat in my camping chair and soaked up the sunshine.

The warmth of the sun was much appreciated.

Wrote away for this blog on paper.

No internet connection.

Listened to the boats and jet skiis go by.

Think I spotted my son slowdown on his jet ski and look my way.

The water on the reservoir was smooth.

A small wave came in to the beach.

Water relaxes me.

Thankful for the day and all of God’s blessings.
